A Glenbrook Tradition
Every Summer, Keep Memory Alive hosts its Summer Social and Rodeo at Shakespeare Ranch, featuring a weekend of fun and fundraising. Proceeds from the weekend support the work of Cleveland Clinic Lou Ruvo Center for Brain Health.
Dating back to the early 1940s, the Glenbrook Rodeo was an annual highlight until it was discontinued in 1965. Keep Memory Alive Founder and Chairman Larry Ruvo and his wife, Camille, along with the McGill family, resurrected the tradition in 2000.
We look forward to welcoming you to the beautiful Shakespeare Ranch in Glenbrook for a fun-packed weekend of BBQ, bull riding, and more.
Broncos, BBQ, and Barn Dancing
The rodeo features bull riding, bronco riding, ribbon roping, and barrel racing. In addition, there are carnival games, a face painter, a watermelon-eating contest to delight kids, a Western-style barbecue, and a silent auction with an incredible variety of luxury gifts ranging from jewelry and travel packages to sports memorabilia.
The festivities continue with delectable culinary offerings at Shakespeare Ranch. A live entertainer then brings down the barn with a memorable performance. Past headliners have included Robin Williams, Jay Leno, Lionel Richie, Kenny “Babyface” Edmonds, Kenny Loggins, Michael Bolton, Three Dog Night, Little River Band, The Commodores, and the band America.
